Extra Credit

The purposes of this assignment are

• to give you credit for attending or participating in extracurricular, co-curricular, or activist events that extend the central purposes of the course.  
• to provide opportunities for you to make up for points lost due to excessive absences or flubbed assignments

To earn the credit, write a 2-3 page essay analyzing the event and how it relates to the content of the course.  You can submit these at any time, or save them until the end of the semester to submit together.  Each event adds 1% to the final course score.  I will count up to three extra credit events.
