Extra credit - up to 5%
You can earn extra credit points by attending or participating in extracurricular, co-curricular, or activist events that extend the central purposes of the course.
For example, most of the Women's History Month events qualify, as would events offered by the Caribbean project. I will send out announcements as I receive them. If you have questions about whether or not an event would qualify, contact me ( gray@tcnj.edu ).
To earn the credit, write a 2-3 page essay about the event and how it relates to the content of the course. You can submit these at any time, or save them until the end of the semester to submit together. Each event adds 1% to the final course score. I will count up to five extra credit events.
