To prepare for next week's brainstorming session on topics to cover in the course, follow the instructions below and take brief notes to bring to class with you.

1. Review the Reading Sources list, paying special attention to websites. Click on a few links that interest you. What do you find especially compelling there?

 

 

2. Review the list of books that have been used in past semesters on the Reading Sources list, noticing that there are links to reviews for some of them. Take a look at any reviews for titles that interest you, and make notes on any titles that you find particularly interesting.

 

3. Take a look at the titles already available on the SOCS resource list. What especially interests you? Take a few notes. You'll find past students' reviews of some of these titles at FemWorkplace.

 

4. Review your notes, and think about why you're interested in the titles you've listed. What topics and themes emerge?
