            Written with a feminist edge, this author gives approximately nine reasons why she won't marry, but at times flip-flops her position based on various realizations she comes to.   She uses humor throughout, and a rambling sort of prose that brings even more humor into her writing.   She also brings to light various traditions and meanings behind those traditions of marriage, while interjecting with details of her own relationship.   She entertainingly discusses details of her motherhood amongst the understanding that she is not married to her son's father.   She makes marriage seem less like a worth-while conquest. - N.T.
