Field Study in Women's and Gender Studies

Assignments

Field study placement of 150 hours - 30% 

Students submit a record of hours spent, and student and supervisor complete a form assessing and commenting on the worksite and the intern’s performance.  The instructor assigns the grade based on these feedback forms.

Internship Supervisor Agreement.  Due at the beginning of your internship

Internship Objectives - Due at the beginning of your internship

Evaluation of Intern form - Please have your supervisor send this to me at the end of your internship.

Internship Completion Form - You submit this at the end of your internship.

Preparation and participation - 40%

SOCS library addition (5 points)

Facilitation assignment (10 points)

Midsemester reflections form and discussion  (5 points)

Freeform Class Session (5 points)

Internship Portfolio – 30%
